1. I love the Purple and Gold |
|
UW Huskies that is!
Of course, in 2004 I think 6 wins is about the best the Dawgs can hope for.

4. I watched them last year in person |
|
They looked like they were just toying with UW, and blew them out in the second half. Of course, UW was terrible last year, but USC was the best team I've seen in Seattle since Miami came to town in 2000. (A game UW won!)
LSU's defense was great against OU - really impressive.

3. Not a chance in the world |
|
'cause we don't play 'em. :-)
Our SEC opponent of choice is Alabama, 37-29 victims last year (they blew a 14-0 lead!). It was weird to be in Waikiki (with visiting Mom) and to be nearly the only UH Warrior fan in a sea (Tide?) of crimson. I had to resist the urge to stroll up and down Kalakaua Avenue chanting "Four and nine! Four and nine!"

5. Hawaii is a fun team to watch |
|
I caught a few of their games last year on ESPN - including the Bama game. Timmy Chang is a pretty good college QB, and I think June Jones made the right decision dumping the NFL and heading back to college.

10. I guess that means your 1958 championship didn't matter either |
|
Since it was AP.
Or did the AP matter back then, but just not now?
Enjoy the prestigious Sears Trophy. :*
BTW, USC has more college world series titles than USC too, LSU's "other" sport.

and against the LSU Tigers in Little Rock I expect the string to go on. Arkansas is undefeated in LR under Houston Nutt. You heard it here first, Arkansas over LSU in Little Rock in overtime. Arkansas is the king of overtime games.

15. If Arkansas can't win the SEC, I hope LSU does |
|
Now this year will be a very tough year for Arkansas. I know they won't win the SEC, or even the west, but I always have to pull for them first. But if they can't win, I'd like LSU too. I'm sick of the supporters for the east talking about how they dominate the SEC. Even after the two LSU victories over Georgia I still heard about it.
btw, you ever go to secfanatics.com? If you do, stay away from the political board. You'll go insane.
