5. NOT the ONLY one!

Wirtz had the 'hawks cut payroll down to nothing in the middle of LAST season because he thinks there won't be a season next year and didn't want to pay players for nothing.

Wirtz STILL refuses to allow home games to be shown on TV locally. The only pro sports franchise to still do this. Even when they're on ESPN, if the game isn't sold out, he refuses permission.

Wirtz hired Alpo Suhonnen to be head coach. What was Alpo doing before being named? Directing theatre in his native Sweeden.

Wirtz was named worst owner in pro sports in an ESPN survey. That's right....worst in ALL of pro sports.

This fucking bastard fired the best GM in the leauge becuase he wasn't just a yes man. As well, he likes to keep rumours in the press about selling the team to people who wish to move it.

9. Charles Dolan, New York Rangers
it takes serious skill to run three of the best sports icons in the world: the knicks, the rangers, and madison square garden, into the ground in 5 years--but he's managed it. give me steinbrenner over dolan any day.
