2. Unfortunately there is no such url. You need the iTunes program
which is free for Windows or Mac OS and then you can access the music store. You should do this as iTunes is a fantastic program.

http://www.apple.com/itunes/

cheers, let me know if you need any help!

4. i thought it was mandantory...
that all jazz peeps sleep till at least 10:30 eastern, and any awakening before then was to be only for the purpose of aspirin and/or urinating, and maybe a little hair of the dog.

8. None of them!

To say I am not a big fan of Alice is an understatement. I don't even think the piano liked her. :)

I shall now go listen to Afro-Blue Impressions in memory of Elvin.

9. Hey - do you have Coltrane Live at Birdland?
There's an AWESOME version of Afro-Blue on that which I have been playing on repeat lately!

I gotta tell you that Satchidananda is my guru (not for real but I studied his teachings for years and still read his books)

so I gotta go with that one

the red hot and blue compilation jazz album has him chanting on a version of Love Supreme done by Alice which rocked my world and used to be a staple naptime/bedtime groove for my son when he was itty bitty.

11. how is your son now?
I've been thinking about the Mozart effect when my fiancé eventually is with child - except with jazz.

Oh and thanks!

9 years old

whisltes all the time

we played everything from Sade (really the best for going to sleep) to jazz to Mozart to Taj mahal and Raffi. John Coltrane too.

Its all good

we also did sinead, clannad, and children's tunes.

His vocabulary is strong and he is pretty healthy with a great imagination and creative . He also nursed for a year and was born naturally (no drugs for mama).

Jazz is perfect, I think - especially Miles, Coltrane and McCoy Tyner.

Great modal jazz from a great jazz player.

Plus it's got Ron Carter and Pharoah Sanders on it...
