but what is it with "MEME MEMO"

Now, I know that memo is short for memorandum, but the only thing I can figure for the "MEME" part is memeograph. So, assuming that I am correct, it is appropriate to send a "MEMO" over the Internet by posting a message on this board, but not a "MEME" which refers to the specific antiquated method of reproducing a memorandum by use of a memeograph machine (very messy indeed).

So, to the DUer who keeps posting MEME MEMOs, please stop. The memeograph fluid is clogging my computer.

That's what http://www.m-w.com is for. I had to look it up a couple of years ago after seeing it on here so many times. Had never heard it before that.
