How dirty is your computer keyboard? |
|
Mine was filthy. . . I'm using clorox spray and Q-tips to clean it. Don't eat pizza when you're online.

My beige one at the office is disgustingly dirty, but my black home number looks much cleaner.

I'm a very clean person, but it was absolutely clogged with filth. I'm horrified! Rich tomatoey sauce in between the keys.

Forgive me, the little 5 year old in me HAD to say that. :-)

A moderately loosely taped piece of plastic wrap, masking taped just under the backside. For all the times that somebody has to do a spit take about what somebody posted here, it's a necessity. I shorted one out at work by trying to clean it with alcohol.
The plastic wrap needs to be loose enough to allow the keystrokes. So my typos can always be blamed on a too tight wrap.

Keyboards are about ten bucks.
If you need a Dvorak keyboard, you can make stickers to place over the keys. But if you need a real, honest-to-gosh ergonomic keyboard, you're out of luck.
I just bought one a few days ago.

18. You can take it apart to clean it |
|
I know this because I have cracker crumbs, coffee, pop, whatever I am eating stuck to my keyboard.
Otherwish chuck it into the trash bin and buy one for under $10.00 bucks. That's easier then cleaning it and you get a fresh new start that way.
