Anyone here like the way Justin Hawkins of the Darkness sings? |
|
:puke:
It's an acquired taste, I guess. :wow:

I don't mind it; it kind of resembles AC/DC, which I like. Most importantly, I like their music itself, so I can overlook less-than-ideal singing

There's just something about an ugly geezer with a shrill voice screeching "get your hands off my woman, motherfucker!" that's genius.

6. I think he has a very athletic singing voice |
|
but it's not well suited for rock and roll.

11. I can't stand the falsetto. |
|
Too bad, because I like hard rock and I'm glad to see a band doing that shit again, but I can't deal with that falsetto. But I do get a kick out of the band and I wish them well because of what they're attempting.

12. The album only has one or two great songs |
|
The video for 'I believe in a thing called love" was playing on the college network for months before the album broke (I'm a professor and get free college network tv), so I bought the album and was disappointed.
Anyone here like Monster Magnet? That rocks better than the Darkness.
