Man Arrested For Online Sex Betting

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Police in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, have arrested a man on charges of operating an online betting operation that they say offered gamblers the option of money or sex.

Salvatore Teodoro is charged with kidnapping, gambling and promoting prostitution.

The police chief tells The Record of Bergen County that the suspect dispatched prostitutes to customers in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The chief says winners were offered sex to boost the profit margin.
