I just had the most wonderful lunch possible.

A colleague and I eat Sushi at the same place at least once a week. It is a fairly upscale place and the clientele is usually rich and conservative.

Today we went there for lunch and the crowd was a little more sparse than usual. I happened to overhear the staff talking about F911 so I asked our waitress whether she liked the movie when she served our lunch.

That simple question turned into an hour of Bush bashing. She talked to us the whole time we ate about what a horrible guy Bush is. It turns out everyone in the restaurant, even all the patrons today, were against Bush except for the manager. The manager hid in the back the whole time.

I'm so amazed at how people are beginning to speak up. It's encouraging. Puts a smile on your face, doesn't it?

Here's another little uplifting story:

My license plate reads "DEFEATW." I was at a store the other day and a woman stopped me and said, "I hope that means George Bush!" When I said yes she told me how brave I am to have it on my license plate. In fact, the only response I get is positive -- the Bushistas don't say anything.
