Did they charge you to add the ram or just for the ram? Where is it located at?

2. The store is on the Magnificent Mile on Michigan Ave...near Watertower |
|
Place. It's a nice store...all those Macs!
Of course they charged to put it in. I could do it myself but do not have the tools with me and wanted it in today.

3. I thought that it might be a complimentary service |
|
That's not bad and it saves a person from messing up or shorting out their computer.
I will be like a kid in a candy store in that place.
Way to go!

4. There's also an Apple Store at Woodfield Mall |
|
If you live closer to Schaumburg, it might be a better option for you.
Woodfield is 20 minutes south down IL-53 from where I live, so when I get my Powerbook I'll bet set :)

5. I agree that it's best to have it put in by a professional |
|
One of my friends put in my airport card last summer and it has never worked properly. I asked the guy at the Apple store to look at it today and he did some stuff and now it's working!
