What should I bring for a 2-3 hour bike ride
I'm in good shape, but I've been weightlifting more than endurance training - so I expect this to be tough. A 1-2 hour mountain bike over rolling hills in East Bay, California.

I know that with endurance traning, you have to eat constantly, especially carbs.

What would you reccommend?

3. a camelpack, and trail mix.
and maybe tang. i like all three, but the camelback is a lifesaver on a bike, you dont have to keep reaching down for your waterbottle. they're good for hiking, too.

5. You need
Water
Carbs

Pump, patch kit, maybe a crescent wrench
and a couple of the key sized allen wrenches your bike needs.
a small combo screwdriver would be good, too.

Have a good ride, and don't kill yourself the first time, build up to is.

6. Maybe Powerbars and...
water in plastic bottles, or something like gator ade.
A bike helmet
Be sure to put sunblock and insect repellant on before you go out.
Skintastic is really good, and comes in a small plastic spray bottle; it is both sunblock and insect block. You could even carry it on board without too much trouble
and....a smile!

7. Some sort of liquid and beef jerky.
That always works for me.

Also a cell phone, in case you get a flat or an injury while you're riding.

And have a beer and a cigarette ready for when you're done. (hey, you have your cool-down routine, I have mine) :)

Have fun!

Add a little difficulty to ride:
