How tall are you? Would you rather be taller or shorter?

which is the average height of an American male, I've read, so I can't really complain. But I'd like to be about 6 feet. Both of my brothers are 6 feet tall. Why did I get "short"changed? I suspect it's because Mom smoked while she was pregnant with me.

31. Yes, 6'4" is the perfect height.

Any taller & I wouldn't be able to buy clothes off the rack or fit into a coach-class airplane seat. (It's bad enough when the person in front of me tries to slam their seat back into a reclining position with all their might... repeatedly ... OW. )

Yet it's tall enough to see over everyone else's head, and you're big enough that everyone -- everyone --- is polite to you & people with you. :)

But I was always one of the tallest girls in my class, and I fully expected to get to 5'7". I was 5' 3 1/2" by the time I was twelve, and then I just sort of stalled out. It was one of the biggest disappointments of my adolescence.
