EVIL DEAD: The Musical (Strange, but true)
Edited on Sat Jul-17-04 04:39 PM by khephra

The initial original story of a bunch of kids trapped in a demon infested cabin is intact but played around a bit due to logistical reasons. They merged both stories basically into part one being Evil Dead 1 and part two being Evil Dead 2. I won't give away any of the best jokes from the show, but suffice it to say that there is a lot of self-reference about the movies and plenty of the best lines from the original movies (with gleeful audience participation on these).

A lot of comparisons have been made with The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and it's true to an extent, but to me this has more the feel of a live version of the great high school play scene in Rushmore with the small venue but grandiose, bloody production values.

3. That is so awesome!
I love it!!!

We can always hope for Evil Dead 4 though.. http://www.moviehole.net/news/3841.html

I had heard rumors that he was planning on doing it and that he was going to go with the alternate, Director's Cut ending of Army of Darkness. (In that ending the world pretty much ends. )
