I wish they made shopkeeper chow
Just a little bowl of kibble that I could keep behind the register and pick at during the day.

I'm sick of fast food and microwave meals.

1. Trail mix?

Dried fruit and meat? Nuts? Granola? String cheese?

Just some suggestions, as "shopkeeper chow" sounds like the same as "student chow" -- and I quickly started packing my own lunches in college. :-)

4. Used to keep a jar of peanuts close by
I think I'm just sick of food in general. Too much of a bitch to cook, and I've had enough fast food over the last 18 months to last a lifetime.

If I could take a pill everyday and get all the nutrition I needed, that would be fine with me.

5. I love to eat
And I very rarely cook for myself or get a home cooked meal. I'm fortunate to live in an area that has a lot of restaurants. From fast food to fancy food, we've got it all around here so I can keep a good variety going. It sounds like you are always eating on the run. Maybe you should take the time and have really good sit down meals at a better restaurant if you can't cook for yourself.
