A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for a tornado to form, not that there is one on the ground.

I live in Indiana, and I have been outside DURING a tornado with about 70 family members. Our picnic shelter literally blew away as we were running for cover.

My husband is from PA and still gets jumpy when a watch is announced (about every other day) until I remind him what it means.

Hope all is well when it blows over!

My in-laws are all clustered around Stony Plain and Wabamun!

My mother- and father-in-law lost part of their roof in a storm last year. Blew out some of their windows and they lost tons of shingles.

I hope they're all hanging in there! You too, Trog!
