Should we have a little lounge gathering, around say 4:20PM? |
|
We'll kick back. Maybe do a little drummming. Listen to a little reggae, or some Sublime. Maybe we could discuss the other war we had no business involved in - the drug war. What a joke. Can you believe the number of people that are incarcerated in American jails for non-violent crimes, such as possession? Of course, like they say, if you smoke pot one day, you're sure to be on heroion the following week, right? Discuss amongst yourselves. Hope to see you there :smoke: If I don't get back in time, start without me.

1. Plus, if you smoke pot, then you're helping fund al Qaeda |
|
Of course, if you do "Republican drugs" like Rush Limbaugh, George W., and Noelle Bush do, then you're not harming America, like the pot smokers are.

4. I suppose this could be a fun soiree, what with music, drinks, and all but |
|
any discussion on the war on drugs is futile. Because the war on drugs is a lot like Afganistan, lost, lost, lost.
Like the song says "Ask any DEA man..."
2.1 million Americans incarcerated right now. Not all for drugs, but a hefty chunk of them most certainly are. I forget what the cost is to house them, something like 46 billion a year. And when they get out, what is there? Nothing. The only way to cut recidivism is to ensure that there's a job waiting upon release. OOPS, silly me. Even those who haven't been incarcerated can't find work. What am I thinking?
Oh well, we better just build some more jails because we're certainly going to need them.

8. eastern, central, pacific time zone? |
|
Or should we just keep the discussion going through all time zones so everyone has a chance? I don't want to be greedy.
How about a little Arlo Guthrie?
Coming into Los Angeles...
