Why does the ice cream truck play "The Entertainer"?

One just cruised by here playing the old ice-cream truck standard. Did Scott Joplin REALLY love ice cream, or what? Inquiring minds would like to know.

How are you? Here it is the weedwhacker or mower before 9AM on weekends that disturbs me. SOme of my neighbors believe that hell is waiting for them if their grass is ever longer than a quarter inch. I have never understood this particular obsession. I think they think that the middle class police will come after them otherwise. :)
