Have you bought OEM software online?
I've found a couple places on the net that've got killer prices for Photoshop CS and Macromedia Studio MX 2004...

I'm just worried they're a scam.

Another place I found sells only OEM discs for OLDER software (Photoshop 7, Macromedia Studio MX 2002), for twice the price.

Another place I found sells only DOWNLOADS of the Photoshop 7 and Macromedia 2002 software. Prices are the lowest.

Do Adobe and Macromedia sell OEM versions of their products?

1. My windows xp is oem . So is my dreamweaver
The xp I paid $140 for(actual disk and cdkey). It works fine and is registered with Microsoft and allows updates. It was a about a year old when I got it so I had to go out and get all the security updates, driver updates and SP1. It was from a us firm a2zcomputers.com (I think ..check spelling).

I recently got Dreamweaver MX. for $60. It works fine. and is registered also. I was shipped from Russia and took several weeks to get here. It also needed to be updated.

These were my only experiences with OEM software except what came with my current machine. I Auto cad 2004 today for $40. Wow. I might just get that also.

2. Which site?...
The one I found has Studio MX 2004 only. I know MX 2004 is buggy, SLOW, and whose license can NOT be transferred to another computer. It needs to be activated too and I will not do that crap.

(that's why I'm also getting Photoshop 7 instead of CS...)

I've found MX 2002 to be a bit more reliable, though needs to be patched...

Thx!
