Why the hell can't Bob Rolle say Tour de France?

What's up with that? The guy was a world class cyclist, so as an amateur, I respect his accomplishments. He's also a pretty good commentator. He says Spanish names like it's his native language but he still says Tour Day France!

He's like the George Bush of the Tour Day France!

Personally, I think it's a little insulting to the French and the history of this great race. He once said the reason he changed the pronunciation of a Spanish name was because the guy told him, "Hey, that's not how you say my name" "I'm not that guy" So he changed to the correct pronunciation. So why can't he do it with the name of the race that is making him a household name?

3. It won't be necessary to fix the voting machines, becasue

we're gonna kick Bush's ass down here in Florida, there's no way they're going to steal this. Imagine if the exit polls were like
for 80%Kerry/Edwards and the vote count was strangely close. I live in an area of the strongest of Bush supporters, and he's even in trouble here. I won't get complacent, but you might be surprised when it's not even close. Oh yeah, there's no way they're gonna give us a paper trail. Everyone I know is voting absentee.

It is apparently a running joke. Honestly, I think there aren't many countries Americans have less respect for than France.
