Just got this email from a conservative pen pal I met on Hannity's forum:

Bush has said many things like this: "It's the same intelligence that was used by my predecessor to bomb Iraq." (Feb 23, 2004)

But to Bush, that intelligence was not conclusive - he wasn't sure Iraq was developing WMD: "I expect Saddam Hussein to let inspectors back into the country. We want to know whether he's developing weapons of mass destruction." (January 16, 2002)

 
I have no comeback, OK?  You win, I shall stop my public support for President Bush effective immediately.

A few days ago, I got this from an old roommate in response to the question, "Are you still supportive of our actions in Iraq?"

Hell NO I'm not supportive of the actions in Iraq anymore.  I was just so angry and devastated by 9/11...just like the majority of the other people in this country.  Especially now after having seen "Fahrenheit 9/11" - I just detest that motherfucker Bush.

1. Converted one guy at work

It took several years but, knowing I was very much anti Bush my coworker asked one day for some information on *. He was like so many who just listen to the sound bites, was angry about 9/11 and wanted to lash out. No 4 years and a mess in Iraq later. He came around. Grante it's not much but, it is one vote. I have also noted that the ones who beat the drum for war and where huge * fans have gotten very, very quiet.

2. If EVERYONE converted one Bush voter

It would be the most ridiculous landslide in American history since George Washington ran unopposed.
