Just caught the end of the story, but they made the Republican guy look real lame by comparison...Their merchandise sales have increased astronomically, (to $300K?), the Republican site's sales are "flat".

When we leave on Thursday, we're not going back to Dallas, we're heading to Austin for the evening to spend some margarita/dinner time with GOPisEvil, sonia, Velma, and whoever else wants to show up. And go see Kerry get the nom.

So how close is Cypress to 290? We could make a detour to grab some late breakfast or early lunch with you--

Could that work? I mentioned the book to Al the other day when you told everyone about the deal and he got that rabid, overly enthusiastic bibliophile look in his eye, so I think he's into it!

Cypress is right off 290, but during the day I'm at the Galleria at West Loop 610 and Westheimer. I could easily slip out for a 'breakfast meeting' (wink wink).

6. Auto. trans leaking fluid all over the place.

I took it in for an oil change and was told that the transmission was a quart low. I thought that sounded odd, so I asked if there was a leak, since I had not seen evidence of one. I was told there was no leak. Cut to two days later and the giant red puddle on my driveway. I take it back to the oil change place, and NOW there's a leak.

I suspect they overfilled my transmission and blew a gasket (literally). I'll find out when the nice people at the transmission shop call.

I liked that lube place too. How can you dislike a place called "Groovy Lube"? They use a peace sign as their logo! But, they might have lost me. If the transmission place tells me the seal just wore out, that's one thing. But if it was damaged in some way...
