2. Streamripper is tried and true

But only does mp3 streams.

You can find it for most platforms (Win, MacOSX, Linux)

The other tactic (such as for Real, WMA or QuickTime streams) would be to use an audio capture program (such as Audio Hijack on the Mac) to record all the audio the listening program generates. I use this method with a screen-movie-grabber (Snapz Pro X) to grab CSPAN footage and WH press conferences sometimes.

You have to google for it; it is no longer "official" .




A Soundblaster card will also allow you to do it without additional software.

7. Anyone know if any of these work with Audible streaming audio?
I'd like an easy way to put my Audible books on a "non-Audible ready" mp3 player so I need them to be converted to standard mp3's.
