MOSCOW -- In Russia, airline crews sometimes have to deal with drunken passengers. But Russian airline officials are describing what they call an "unprecedented" reversal -- a passenger assaulted by drunken crew members.
An airline spokeswoman says it began aboard a flight from Moscow when flight crew members became intoxicated -- and only started catering to passengers about half-way through the four-hour long flight.
One passenger complained, and asked to be served by a sober flight attendant. With that, the airline says, two crew members began assaulting the passenger, who reportedly sustained a black eye and possibly other injuries.
One witness told a reporter that half the served food ended up on the plane's floor. Passengers had to pick their way over the mess as they left the plane.
