Who watches Six Feet Under?
Someone fill me in about what happened to the character in the last episode? They're talking about it on Majority Report, and I'm lost. They say they thought it was excruciating and went on "way too long", and "pushed the envelope"? What happened?

7. It was the MOST intense episode.
So unexpected, really. A most excellent roller-coaster ride through David's bad luck.

I feel so much for these characters that it actually hurts sometimes. Easily my favorite show.

6. David was abducted
He stopped to help a motorist, and everything was going great for a while, until the motorist (who had given a ride to get some gas for a car we learn later in the episode wasn't his at all) goes ape shit on him and beats him and forces him to go into a store at gunpoint to pull some money out of the ATM. He then makes David drive him around a while, the guy is obviously deranged. When he notices that David is transporting a body, he flips out and shoves the body out of the window. At point it really looks as if they guy was going to kill David, he has a flashback to various points at his life, as he's being beaten they guy is calling him a faggot and other horrid stuff. It was brutal.

in this episode too? (sry if I'm wrong) Nate is reading the paper and says "Bush lies about everything and nobody cares.." I got sidetracked right after the girl got out of the hot tub and then all you hear was her scream. i gotta watch now.

11. Yeh, Nate did say that!
There's an anti-Bush comment in every episode.

It doesn't keep me tuned in, the script does... but it's always a welcome surprise!!!

14. I didn't realize that
I watched alot when it first came on. I quit watching regularly about the time Brenda made friends with the hooker girl. Just recently started watching again. Need to get caught up I guess.

12. It was the very same episode and you relayed exactly
right. I couldn't believe my ears and only afterwards when a duer posted the same thing was I able to realize that Yes, Nate read that from the newspaper and then got up and tossed it on the table.

I told someone at work about that..I bet there were a few discussions on that, too.
