always walks straight up like humans since she had a near death experience. She never walks on all fours.

It's something that has been observed in wild colonies of New world monkeys in S. America - when they're sick, they tend to walk upright more.

I'd guess it would keep reflux to a minimum and such.

Or maybe she's just gotten tired of dealing with a bunch of stupid humans and wants to really mess with their minds.
