When you are in a meeting and you need to take care of some minor details outside the agenda its called HOUSEKEEPING, right? As in "I have a few housekeeping items to take care of..."

Why doesn't it sound right to me this morning? (need to make an e-mail announcemnt to a group I'm involved in)

DU - the answer place, I swear I'm getting where ist the only place I go anymore. Thanks again, wish me luck in the meeting tonight, it may be the make or break of a group that has been working really hard for more than a year to do its small part for real democracy on a minor scale.

Leave the premises or buy a box lunch here for as long as they last. Do not leave after the lunch period; you must attend for the full session if you wish to have credit. If you haven't prepaid, write a check now.

Or, literal housekeeping: You all need to bring the glasses and silverware back to the cafeteria. Do not keep food in your office, it is attracting insects and vermin. If you open your windows, the air conditioning doesn't work very well. This makes the rest of the building hot and humid, even though you have fresh air. ;-)
