This Greenwich-based quartet (with a drummer hailing from Saratoga Springs) are high schoolers with one foot in Starless and Bible Black-era King Crimson. It’s hard to tell whether they’re aware of that reference point, but it matters not. They could use more focus on their songs’ beginnings and endings, but in between they sure do get some ferociously hypnotic cerebral grooves going. There are vocals (and some angst-heavy titles like “A Brief Study of Existentialism” and “Fireworks Make Me Feel Lonely”), but it’s the instrumental onslaught that mesmerizes and impresses.

One of the toughest things about being an artist, is lack of appreciation. And the problem for small bands is getting NOTICED. Now you can point out to the people who hire you for a gig that they can advertise you, quoting that review!!!

3. Hey I just listened to some of your MP3s

You guys are very good! From the songs I have heard you have a efemeral feel to the music. Gads of talent there. I wish I knew how to manage bands. Do you have any vocals or have I not gotten to any of those songs yet?

P.S. I just realized you guys are still in high school. Stay focused guys. Have you thought about attending college and seeking music degrees and then playing on the side until you break into the big time. ? Here comes the next Dream Theater.

thanks! we do have a few songs with vocals. next year i'm a senior so i'll be going to school, most likely for music. not sure where, though. the rest of the band still has another year to go after that.

the only dream theater ive heard is the midi files on their site...whats a good album to get?
