What's for lunch today ?
I'm having spicy deer sausage tortilla wraps with onions, tomatoes, and cheese. The HEB new grocery store here in Taylor now has a fresh tortilla machine. They are hot and steamy in the plastic bag as soon as they come out. I love them. What are you having ?

5. Salad, as usual, but w/ a twist
Edited on Thu Jul-22-04 10:19 AM by MissMillie
I have some leftover shrimp that I'm going to put on top of it.

Our cafeteria has the most amazing salad bar. It is about 12 feet long, and the food is on both sides of it (it's a walk-around). The produce is green and fresh, there's tuna, grilled chicken, eggs, pasta salad. Usually there is a bean salad, and then the specialty foods like roasted veggies (eggplant, portobello, peppers) and hummus, fresh mozzarella, olives, not to mention fresh fruit (mellon, pineapple, strawberries, grapes, and cottage cheese. Sometimes they even put out grilled salmon.

They also have great toppings like croutons, raisins, granola, sunflower seeds, and an assortment of dressing. Given the variety and quality of the food, I alway just dress mine w/ some olive oil.

You can have salad every day and have it be something different.
