or are you referring to Foo Fighters (HIS band) as opposed to Nirvana (Kurt's Band)?
BTW, Gotta disagree on Elfman... I kinda grew up on Oingo Boingo (The class prophecy in my senior year book predicted that I would be the drummer for a resurrected Oingo Boingo... Still waiting for Danny or Steve to call...

Boingo was awesome and very unique. All great musicians and with a musical genius (Elfman) writing the songs they were a special group.
They just never seemed to hit it big nationwide, they always seemed to be a southern california thing.

... Danny Elfman for a large percentage of the bland theme music floating around out there, such as the Simpsons. Who decided this guy could compose his way out of a paper bag? :)
Never listened to Oingo, so have no opinion of him in a band :)
