3. Tell Your Dentist There's A NEW Technique!

When injecting Novocaine or any of the other analgesics, go VERY slowly, Inject a small amount, Either advance or draw the needle back fractionally and inject some more. Lather Rinse Repeat.

What happens is that the anesthetic numbs the area ahead of the needle! It TAKES a bit longer (infusion takes maybe 30 to 50 seconds longer) but it FEELS a whole bunch better! Newer dentists are using it and find that patient tolerance has gone up tremendously.
