Poll question: The best minivan/small SUV
Escape, Sedona, or XL7. I'm probably gonna get one of these three cars, and in this era of outsourcing and rampant anti-unionism, I'm leaning toward the Escape as the best political choice. (But I wonder, if each of the vehicles were studied, part by part, which one would include the most American/union made parts.)

Anyway, which car would you choose?

1. The Escape
ia a nice little SUV, and in a few more weeks you can get it with the Prius-esque drive train... 38mpg for a SUV is a good thing. The Kia packs alot of extras for the price, but resale value sucks... big time... The Suzuki... never looked at... sorry

However... did you consider a Subaru Forester? Nicely equipped vehicle for the price, outstanding quality, decent mileage, and excellent resale. Not as big as the others though if you need size.

2. I was going to say the Forrester too.
Subaru is partly owned by GM I think. Also the new Saab 9-2x is really a Subaru and it's not very expensive.

11. My stepmom has an LL bean Edition Forrester
she loves it, can't say enough good things about it. She's big into gardening so she's at the nursery alot and loads that sucker way up. It's really nice inside, pretty cushy for a Wagon? crossover? whatever it is. She's been trying to talk me into buying one.

15. I test drove the Rav-4 last week
i was still trying to decide what to buy to replace my stolen beloved Acura. It was nice, i drove the 4x4 5 speed with the hood scoop, it's built on the corrolla base and the ride is not as jolty as some of the truck based suv's.

10. If you are looking at the Escape, look at the Mazda
Tribute (I think). Same car. Also, unless you are sold on four wheel drive or need more seating, consider the Ford Focus wagon. Cheaper, more cargo room, and better mileage.

16. Agreed! We have one. It's a great running car for the money, and
I'm able to do so much with it. Five years, no problems. :hi:

14. My SUV
Despite my protests, my parents purchased an SUV. It is on the small side, though, and thanks to my badgering it is surprisingly fuel-efficient; Hyundai Santa Fe. Nice car, about 28 mpg.
