Stupid signature question

Yeah, i know, admins might better answer this, but i'd rather not ask there unless I have to. Anyway, how do you link an image in a sig line to a website?

1. You put it in your signature.

Literally, type it all in the signature area. I will use < and > so you can see the brackets.

<a href="http://www.website.com"> picture.jpg </a>

The square brackets. The ones on the { and } keys if you DON'T hit shift.

edit: with brackets instead of carrots

and it just shows what you see in my current sigline
