Drip proof peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Lets face it; PB&J sandwiches when constructed properly are messy. I like gobs of concord grape jam (It must be jam cause jelly shakes)on my PB&Js.

While building my PB$J sandwich on cracked wheat bread a while ago I got jam drips all over the table cloth and the surrounding floor and the area around my keyboard and on my clean jammies. The butter knife handle was covered with jam up to my second knuckles on my right hand as I had to dig deep into the emptying jar of concord grape jam to get some. A sticky labor intensive mess.

So I am thinking why couldn't peanut butter and concord grape jam or jelly in a solid form be manufactured. It would be like the fake cheese slices individually wrapped for your (Our) convenience.

Now and then I like baloney, onions, cheese and mayo on my PB$J sandwiches. The mayo could also be made into solid slices, just like the cheese, peanut butter, jam or jelly, concord grape of course.

but it ain't the same.

And they don't give you instructions for making a Fluffernutter on the side of the jar!!!!!

Heresy!

I doubt that would be enough "J" for most of us, though, if it can be packaged as a slice. Not for me, anyhow!

6. Damn Matcom!
Long ago in a land far away (Alabama) to be exact and before the middle of the last century my dear old Grandpappy Humphries was busy inventing a pop-out ice-cube making device for the home refrigerators. When he finished his very secret project he was very disappointed and ashamed when I informed him it had already been invented.

That is how I feel now.

Thanks a lot, sigh.

I am sorry Grandpappy Humphries.

9. Screw that synthetic "PB&J slice" crap
What you need is a better knife.

Instead of using just a plain old butter knife, why not a butter knife with a handguard and an insulated plastic handle? Not only would it keep the peanut butter and the jelly off your hands while you dug down deep in the jar to scrape out the dregs, you could stick this knife in the toaster to get the stuck toast out without frying yourself.

12. You could always use pita bread
a pocket bread PB&J.
Of course you'll have to eat them in the privacy of your home. If some one see's you, you might get called un-American. ;)
