1. I read a review that said..
...it is "darker" than the original. For some reason that's about the only thing I remember. It was a positive review, though.

3. I liked the first one a lot.
It reminded me of "Ronin", which is another extremely cool action flick set in Europe with amazing car chases and a ton of paranoia.

But even "Battlefield Earth" would get good reviews if it came out the same day as "Catwoman".

2. Here's a snip from the NYTimes review
You have to register to read the rest:
"Plot and character ultimately don't matter much in a movie that's all about building and sustaining a mood in which visceral and emotional rhythms are blended into a high-gloss thrill ride in which every curve and dip is calculated. Where most Hollywood action movies, edited within an inch of their lives, use split-second leaps and flashes as visual jolts to camouflage holes, "The Bourne Supremacy" knows what it's doing. Its relentless speed not only puts you in Jason's shoes by suggesting the adrenaline rush of a fugitive who has no time to look around, but also suggests Jason's quick thinking. If you pay close attention, you won't get lost. And even if you do, it doesn't take away from the fun."

4. ...and Matt Damon is way cute!
I thought he made a good action star in the first one because he seemed
to be playing against type: A gentle man required by force of circumstance
bust many a head.

A croc, I know, but I liked it!

5. I saw two good reviews on the tube, and the Oregonian gave it thumbs up...
this morning.

Of course, there's always "Control Room" and "Riding Giants."

Woo hoo! Good summer movies!

How did that happen?

7. I've read
both books. I was sceptical of the first movie, but thought it was very well done. From what've read regarding the sequel, I suspect it is just as well done.

Besides Matt is not too hard on the eyes!

I'm also looking forward to 12/10 when Ocean's 12 debuts..with Matt, George, Brad...who cares if the story is good or not!
But I digress...

Ebert & Roeper gave Bourne II big thumbs up for the storyline as well as the action sequences.
