Post your idea for a band name
Mine would be 'The Shoeshine Boys', inspired by my love of underdogs everywhere.

9. Legitimate Businessmen
Mafia dons all say they're "legitimate businessmen." That's where it comes from.

We'll wear 1930s-looking pinstripe suits and drive a 1930s luxury car (okay, a 1930s luxury car with new engine, transmission, rear end...) to gigs.

We'll play early rock.

11. "Wandering Uterus"
When I first learned that back in the day "hysteria" was supposedly caused by a "wandering uterus" (it was wandering because it didn't have a baby in it) in an abnormal psych class a decade ago, I thought it was the *perfect* band name.

15. I was in a band in my teens called
ICY EWE.

Logo was a sheep in an ice cube.

Don't remember why we used that name.

24. Battle of the bands between The Size Queens and Princess Tinymeat...
In all seriousness, I have long insisted that "Princess Tinymeat" would actually make a great Morrissey album title. It has all the elements:
royalty reference
self deprecating
Montgomery Clift reference

26. I once saw an old rusty white Semi Truck Trailer
here in Milwaukee in a storage lot with the words "Insta Whip" in big red letters. I thought, what a great band name.

Sure enough, about 6 months later a local band took that name...
