My friend was inconvenienced by Air Force One--who can she sue?!
Edited on Fri Jul-23-04 07:33 PM by CanuckAmok
She was flying from Vancouver to Baltimore yeaterday, transferring at O'Hare. There were thiunderstorms over Chicago, so all flights were rescheduled in-flight. Then Air Force One wanted to land, which made for even more confusion.

In the end, she missed her connecting flight, and had to fly to Dulles, arriving in Baltimore eight hours after she was supposed to.

Used to be that the President was the servant of the people. but now he's treated like an emporer, or some sort of god.

5. sorry, because it was weather-related...
...she is not entitled to compensation. If even a little bit of the problem is weather-related, you're screwed.

I'm learning how to get bumped since if you get bumped due to too many passengers, you do get $300 or $400 plus food, hotel, etc. But if it's weather-related, they don't have to give you anything. :-(
