I want to use Tvtime in Fedora Core 2 with an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro vis card... I have GL working, I have overlay and tvout turned on in xorg.conf... but I still get the message "Can't open device /dev/<device>" no matter what <device> I use.
What video device should I be trying to open? Does Tvtime work with that distro/card??

3. do you have a AIW card ? |
|
AIW do not work in linux unless its a old card. try the www.rage3d.com forums for more linux help specific to ATI cards. other good links http://www.distrowatch.com/http://www.osnews.com/http://www.knoppix.net/a good bootable distro on a cd for people who want to check out linux or check hardware compatiblity.
