I love Ben Folds, and I'm a guy. My friend was overhearing the new EP eminating out of my cube (It's excellent btw..much better than Rocking the Suburbs) and he made a passing comment that Ben Folds was for single college girls at Oberlin, not techie males in Sunnyvale.

And I've heard this stereotype before...so I wanted to put it to the test...
