The crappiest websites (business websites mind you!) out there.
I am continually shocked at how crappy some business's and organization's websites are. But this one takes the cake...

http://www.wafflehouse.com

I know it's just Waffle House but someone needs to tell them that even THEIR market is online these days.

It looks like some kid made it for them in 1997.

1. I had a client once...
who sent me links to sites like this and said "we want our site to look something like that." What do you say to these people without offending them?

4. It looks appropriate for Waffle House
Waffle Houses always seemed like an endless slice of 1956. This website has kind of a fifties feel to it--well, if you can discount the fact that in 1956, a computer was about the size of your house--so it seems appropriate for them.

5. Yeah
It's the epitomy of a Waffle House: quick, simple, does what it needs to do without any fluff.

6. Aw man, look at that code!
Just a slice of one of their pages. I replaced the < and > on the tags with { and } so as not to confuse the DU code.

8. Yep, that's MS Word generated HTML alright
either that or some kind of weird subliminal advertising trying to get us to think that Waffle House is really big and strong.
