Will Pitt in Boston...my rave about my son!

I just read Will's blog in Truthout...it's the best thing short of being there! Knowing the city as I do, he has captured it and the mood and the tension. I don't know how he keeps blogging like he does and I'm not sure how he gets in and out of places like he has, but, so far, he is just roaring!

PS. one thought I have had reading Will's accounts and watching the TV: How in Hell are we safer??? Boston is an armed camp...worse than Chicago ever was! George, tell me how democracy survives under your scenario...this just cannot go on!

I love the blog.

And I agree about the armed camp. It brings back memories of Chicago and you and I are old enough to remember that. Condi and the rest of them tell us we're safer now because of George. I don't get it at all. I used to take the train into North Station every day and walk by the are where the FSZ is. I can't believe this is my country!

But Will is doing great!

Actually I haven't wanted to tie up his cell phone but he sounds very cool. He was home taking a break. He says that the city is an unbelievable armed camp and that the Boston pigeons have credentials. I remember Chicago...he was just a twinkle in his dad's eye then!

12. an exceptional moment

I was reading Will's interview with Michael Hoffman when NBC did a recap of John Kerry's leadership role in Vietnam Vets Against the War. What a moment! To see the commonality of what Kerry did and what Hoffman et al is now doing.
