I'm watching the Kerry speech on C-Span... |
|
The one in Columbus, Ohio.
He's making a lot of sense, far more than BushCo ever could.
But can I be a bit honest here? Kerry is boring. Dean wasn't boring. Bush is a crashing bore.
But Kerry just kind of stands there. :boring:

but he has gotten better. I wish they would assign him a comedy writer to give him some good zingers for the debates. He could use Jon Stewart to write him some lines. He does come across as being very kind and sensitive and not standoffish.

2. Kerry is dynamic when in his own environment...look at how |
|
alive he is at the boston/yankee game....
he is a man who speaks with his actions...he is our candidate now and next president....and looking for and talking about his positives will get us there...once there.....then people can say other stuff...
but his actions in his life and the way he leads his life speak mountains......pass any words of sales people commenentators......his is really a wholesome guy with a wholesome familyl.......this is so great to have such a well rounded and deep character for president...intellectual..and a wife who can dance rings around commentators and rw wing....bs....

Gawd, was Gore snooze-inducing. :-)
But as is stated above, Kerry is improving, and maybe hiring Jon Stewart would be a good idea.

6. I didn't think he was boring..I was really interested in |
|
in what he had to say. And that made me very happy cause I want bush OUT!
Kerry handled himself well, imv, and I hope he does a bang up job at the Convention. I spent the day on c-span watching the plans for the Fleet Sports Center to be turned into the Democratic Convention and it's Awesome!

I was so pleased to see him talking to real people and giving real answers in an informal setting. He talked like he was a family member in my living room.
When he picked up that adorable little baby and held her in his arms while he talked, I melted. It was adorable! It could easily be a Campaign Ad. The baby was Muslim/African American and was completely fascinated by the mic on JK's tie. Someone reached to take the baby back from him and he said the baby was fine. He just kept talking and the baby was so comfortable with him.
Bush could never do that-Bush can't hold Bush up,much less a baby!

8. Yes, that was pretty good now that I think about it... |

Not everybody can be that comfortable with babies and it means a lot.

Right after the Kerry speech, they showed the Bush speech at some President's Dinner or such.
What a contrast.
Kerry talking to people like you and me.
Bush speaking to rich, white male SOB's. Couldn't see a black or female at all.
