NYYankee Jason Giambi being tested for serious illness

Enough with the Yankee bashing already, this is serious. He is being tested for a potentially fatal intestinal parasite, and may miss the rest of the season. I hate to hear stuff like that.

...that he picked it up while in Japan to open the season. Someone else was mentioned as having the parasite, too, although I can't remember who it was.

7. I think you're a bit premature with your diagnosis...

He is presently being tested for the illness. The results are not in as yet. I'm listening to the game as we speak and that's what has just been said.

And it defiantly transcends baseball. Giambi is one of my favorite players, so I'm hoping he is ok.
