1. Are they arguing yet?
"Next time on American Chopper: tempers flare..."
Seems they don't have to change the teaser for the next episode, 'cause tempers ALWAYS flare on that show.

3. I know the show...
... is a bit contrived at times (like all reality shows). I wonder if they will ever build a bike that isn't "behind schedule" or whatnot.

But I enjoy it anyway.

4. I agree. The bikes ALWAYS look fantastic.
But I could do without the constant bickering.
Sometimes, I think they're all hamming it up for the cameras.
So I usually try to tune in at the end of a bike's saga, to see the end results.

6. That they do...
... the guys there are really creative and I'm always surprised at what they come up with. I even took a welding class I was so inspired :)

But I'm sure the producers insist on having the drama. They think the show wouldn't sell without it, I think they are full of it. :)

and they said that the cameras are constantly rolling and for every fight they show, there were a bunch of times that they were getting along well that they don't show. They realize that strife makes for better television and they play up to it.

9. They're "customs" not "choppers"
According to Hunter Thompson's seminal work Hell's Angels, you produce a chopper by taking a stock Harley and removing, or "chopping," all the unessential crap from it.

What OCC, West Coast Choppers and all these other shops do falls into the Angels' category of "how much aftermarket shit can you put on one motorcycle?"

They may be beautiful, but they ain't choppers.

And personally, I wouldn't own one. I'd much rather have a BMW K1200.

10. American Chopper........

The show is called American Chopper, the company name is Orange County Choppers out of New York. The best part of the show is Paul Sr. screaming and yelling at everyone, lol. Remember he does it all, and they use all his idears.

The 2nd best part is the end when you see the finished bike, chopper, whatever.

The story of OCC episode was a re-run, the last new episode was 2 weeks ago when they did the I-Robot bike for Will Smith's movie I-Robot.

I watch it every week, never miss it.
