Being transgender, I have many male friends who crossdress...and some who, like me, are tanssexuals.

Now, if you are a crossdresser, there's only two possibilies: you pass, or you don't.

If you do...then you are a target of all the scum that victimize women,, rapists, muggers, purse-snatchers, etc.

If you don't pass...then you are the target of gay-bashers.

I think that some guys DO have a clue. Espcially male crossdressers and the stereotypical "flaming" gay men.

The word "transvestite" is offensive to most crossdressers. It has, over time, developed negative connotations. The preferred term nowadays...the P.C. term...is "crossdresser."
