"Boy plays with a handgun" in GD. Question:
Did anyone else see nearly 200 replies and think to themselves: "There ain't no way in hell I'm clicking on that one"?

I didn't look, but I know it's a gun war.

1. *looks at 10-foot pole in the corner*
Nope. Not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent.

6. Funnily enough
it's not really a "gun thread" in the strictest sense. It's more of a parental responsibility thread and I found it quite entertaining and disturbing at the same time. You'll see me all over it. The original writer of the thread was what I found disturbing. Anyone can see why, especially in the latter half of the thread.

7. Very disturbing
Teaching kids to be wary of cops, but not of sexual predators or drugs and alcohol. My head is truly spinning after reading through that thread.

8. No way Moonbeam! I'm still not looking.
I prefer my arguments to be under 100 posts.

12. Question of protection of children...
It was really strange. Not should there be guns, but should a three year old be allowed to play with guns...duh

13. I posted twice in it...and then decided that it wasn't worth the effort
I quit posting in gun threads because I realized long ago that neither side is going to budge in their opinions on this issue. Jabbering about it on the Internet isn't going to sway anyone, and just pisses everyone off.

14. All the pro- and anti-gun people are united against one poster
Almost worth it to see that. But not quite.

15. Did NOT even want to go there.
Don't care to see articles about people who had no business reproducing.

I kept 'em unloaded and locked when I had my kid at home. Well, when I got stepkids who thought they were living in a gansta rap video, I got RID of all of them. Never had to worry about my gun being used to rob a liqour store that way...
