Omigod, OMIGOD! Farscape is back!
I think it's a movie and it's coming in October. I believe the title was, "The PeaceKeeper Wars"

October. The only thing better than October now, is November 3rd!

3. It's only four episides
Basically, there was such a huge ongoing fan demand that the show be brought back, the bigwigs at SciFi decided to wrap up the series with a cleaner ending. The four-hour four-episode miniseries will explain what happened to John and Aeryn in the last episode and show them escaping the Peacekeeper/Scarran war so they can have their baby in peace.

The series isn't returning, it's just finally getting the ending it deserved.

7. Not necessarily the end...
Kemper and O'Bannon (the Exec Producer and Creator, respectively) have hinted that this is not the end. It all depends on the fan base and support.
Farscape and Firefly are two fantastic sci-fi shows that prove the fans can make a difference.
They got the greenlight to do the miniseries without SciFi Channel's support, and when they were looking to release it in the US, they eventually went back to SciFI, 'cause that's where their audience was waiting.

And the "ending" of the series was total crap. You heard me. Total crap.

Here's hoping there's gonna be more Farscape in the future...

4. No, the best thing is gonna be April 22, 2005
because that's when Serenity, the movie based on Joss Whedon's Firefly is scheduled for theatrical release.

We fans had a lot to do with helping to bring this about. If you care at all, come join the Browncoats and get inside info.

5. THAT'S a movie I'm counting the days to.
If ever there was a show that was unjustly cancelled, it's Firefly. I still miss the wonderous sight of Jewel Staite getting all greasy working on the engine :loveya:

8. "Cowboys in Space" doesn't really do it justice
... although they did transport cattle in one or two episodes.

The main characters live on the edges of a system controlled by an oppressive government, and they take on any job they can to make a living without being too obsessive-compulsive about strict legality.

While the core planets in this system are wealthy and their inhabitants have all kinds of high-tech gizmos, out on the rim, the settlers on recently-terraformed worlds have to make do for the most part with low-tech solutions to keep themselves alive. It makes sense when you think about how most of the people on earth right now live in comparison to most Americans. Technology and wealth aren't evenly distributed.

But the space gimmick isn't even the most importantant thing about this show. It's the relationships among the people. They feel more real than just about any other fictional group I've ever seen.
