34. There should be a audio output on the back...

Most motherboards have built-in audio of some sort these days.

Look for a 1/8" headphone socket around the back, usually with a green ring around it. Thats what you want to plug into.

I kept flipping back and forth between C-SPAN and CNN: C-SPAN to watch the gavel-to-gavel without punditry, and CNN to get a feel for how the spin wars were going.

As a non-American, it pisses me off when people claim great things and opportunities happen "only in America".

In Canada, we also have loads of immigrant and minority success stories. As outsiders, it really irks us when such claims are made. It seems overly boastful and ignorant. I'm sure there are similar success stories in the UK, France, or wherever.

Other than that rant I'd like to say, go Kerry go! Send the shrub/weed tumbling back to Crawford, Texas!

It takes a different forms, but it's often just as ignorant and insulting.

btw - real beer drinkers don't drink the generic-tasting big name brands like Molson and Labatts. I much prefer Big Rock, Unibroue, Creemore, Wellington, or any other microbrew.

35. I've missed everything.

We had a family crisis on my husband's side, so I've been spending time with him, and he does not want to watch or talk about anything political right now. There's enough going on in his life and he needs to spend time with me to unwind, refuel, etc.

So in support of my hubby this is the first time I've missed watching the convention. I listen to highlights all day on WNYC while I'm at work, but that's it so far.
