|
Litchfield and Fairfield County is where the true elists come from and live. Ann Coulter, for example, was born and raised in New Canaan, CT, where the median income is $234,000 a year!
I, on the other hand, lived in the Hartford area for many years and now reside in the "quiet corner" town of Coventry. And I couldn't be happier!

3. By sheer coincidence, as I returned to the C-SPAN webcast... |
|
...the Connecticut delegation was just coming on.
Why is it coincidental? Guess what state I'm from?

15. Connecticut is the college hoops capital of the world |
|
Double national champions this year -- men and women. It's never been done before. And the school's rise in basketball has coincided with the incredible growth of the university in the last 10 years. It's a huge source of pride in the state. 300,000 people went to the parade this year -- the biggest gathering in the state since WWII.

That's what the "Husky" is in my screen name. Grew up in Storrs, a couple miles off campus.
Emeka Okafor would make a great Democratic senator someday when his career's over -- if he's not making big $$$$ on Wall Street

HCRE is a Republican.
Lobo is a democrat I believe. Not sure of the politics of others.
Lots of UConn Athletic Alumni are rich these days, so who knows.
