Oops, sorry that was his son. He lost (was cheated by Nixon's henchman) to Nixon. Funny how something never change. The only was a repug can win is by cheating. :evilfrown:

Johnson had alot of money in his campaign chest and would not release it to Humphrey. I worked in that campaign in DC and I remember being told that we couldn't make any more long distance phone calls because there was no $ left.

And he's a douchebag.
Ran against Norm Coleman for Minnesota Governor. Minnesotans were so disgusted with the two of them that they elected Ventura instead.
BTW: His real name is Hubert Horatio Humphrey III, so yes, Hubert Humphrey is still alive. Just in a different personna and lacking his dad's brains.
