God, I love Al Sharpton
He takes so much shit and just keeps on keeping the faith.

God bless him.

3. Emblematic of his whole career
They wanted to give him just five minutes, and he took twenty. Good for him! There is no more loyal Democrat in the country than Al Sharpton. How many countless voters has Al Sharpton delivered to the Democrats?

He is a blessing to the Democratic Party and we all know it.

2. Wasn't he great last night
I look to him to bring out people who have never voted before.

In a press conference yesterday, Michael Moore said the big unknown is going to be the effect of these people who are never polled. I believe it may be the big determinant.

4. Hopefully the Kerry campaign has a big place for Rev. Al
He CAN turn out the vote. Does Florida come to mind? Kerry should book him a hotel suite down there.

6. Sharpton ROCKS

Eligah(sp) Cummings was great too.
I don't think his speech emotions were staged at all.He looked like he may bust out in tears at certain points during his speech.

I loved both these guys!

I have never felt so proud of my home state(Maryland) as I did last night. So many kickass dems are right here.O Malley however was not his usual self,I think he had stage fright.
I cut the guy some slack tho I would've had stage fright talking at the DNC too.

7. I Read His Speech
and the last part of it gave me goose bumps! I am so glad he spoke out about not having African American votes for sale, too.

9. Rev. Al rocked the house last night
A great speech, something I felt like was needed although it seems like some people wanted this to be a positive peaceful convention.

I hope the Kerry-Edwards camp loved it as much as I did.

Truer words have never been spoken so many times in one speech.

12. Sharpton is a jerk.
He still believes Tawana Brawley, and libeled a man in that case.

Until he owns up to those, he'll always be a liar and jerk.

15. Why not?
If Bush gives a great speech at the RNC convention, does that forgive his past wrongs?
