I had a three-hour lap kitty the other night |
|
The cat that was auditioned to be "lap kitty" no longer even acknowledges my existence anymore. The other cat normally only does lap kitty for five minutes when I first get home. She suddenly decided to get up in my lap and stayed there for three hours. It was so unusual I had people fetch me remotes and drinks so she wouldn't be disturbed.
Yesterday she went back to five-minute-lap-kitty. However, she's started sleeping on my bed and wants cuddles in the morning.

1. Must be a planet alignment thing |

My lap kitty, Bob, wanted nothing to do with me last night. But my aloof kitty, Andrew, sat with me for over an hour. A new record for him, then he did the cuddly thing in bed. Weird stuff is afoot at the Throckmorton residence.

She just loves having contact with anything breathing. She'll settle for nuzzling up next to her brother, with her head on top of him if she can't find a person but she'd prefer human contact. Last night I was lying down on my stomach on the couch and she climbed up on my back and just stayed there. Normally she'll climb up on my chest but my back?! It was very strange. She's very peculiar.
